CASE STUDY

SCATTN

Animal Tracker Website

The Southern California Acoustic Telemetry Tracking Network (SCATTN) is a collaborative group of researchers who use acoustic telemetry to study behavior of marine life in southern California.  Prime8 devloped a website for them that served to educate the general public about the importance of studying sea life, health, and movement.   The site contained a database of species as well as detailed descriptions of the scientific studies of each institution involved in SCATTN.  The highlight of the project was the ability to visually track species movement via the Google Maps API.
